This 6-hour micro-course is a component of GE 10 (Whole-Person Education) and aims to foster an innovative mindset through Silliman University's innovation framework and technology-enhanced classroom policies. Students will explore AI integration by learning practical applications in education and gaining an understanding of the university's AI declaration. The course also addresses responsible digital citizenship, focusing on identifying misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation on social media. Participants will develop fact-checking strategies and ethical social media practices to navigate the digital world responsibly. This course promotes both academic and personal growth within the Whole-Person Education framework.
